Shipping Policy — The Baseline Handicraft

1/ Order Processing

All orders are prepared and packaged by hand from our studio in France.
Standard processing time is 3 to 5 business days before dispatch.
For custom or made-to-order items, please allow additional time, we will notify you by email if production requires more days.

Please note that processing time does not include weekends or public holidays.

 

2/ Shipping Rates & Methods

Shipping fees are calculated and displayed at checkout based on your order details.
We may use flat-rate shipping, weight-based pricing, or a carrier-calculated rate, depending on your location and the size of your order.

We currently ship within France and to selected European countries, and plan to expand our shipping zones in the near future.
If your country is not yet available at checkout, please contact us at thebaselinehandicraft@protonmail.com to check availability.

All orders are shipped using a tracked delivery service.
You will receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

 

3/ Estimated Delivery Times

Destination Estimated Delivery Time (after dispatch)
France 2–5 business days
Other EU countries 5–10 business days
Switzerland 5–10 business days

Please note these are estimates only.
Delays may occur due to customs inspections, postal backlogs, or force majeure events (e.g. strikes, weather conditions).

 

4/ Shipping Fees

Shipping fees include packaging, handling, and postage costs.
We make every effort to keep shipping rates fair and transparent.

If you wish to group several items into one shipment, please contact us at thebaselinehandicraft@protonmail.com before placing your order.

 

5/ Customs, Duties & Taxes

For orders shipped outside the European Union (e.g. Switzerland), customs duties or import taxes may apply.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in product or shipping prices.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processes.

 

6/ Lost or Damaged Packages

We take great care in packaging our handmade products.
If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the package and items so we can assess the situation.

If your package is delayed or lost by the carrier, we will help you file a claim, but we cannot be held responsible for carrier errors once the parcel has been handed over.

 

7/ Returns Due to Incorrect Address or Non-Collection

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect shipping address, non-collection, or refusal, the reshipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
We are not responsible for lost parcels resulting from incorrect addresses provided at checkout.
